Services Performed
- Inspected vehicle and found the I-sense system was not workking correctly. Was detecting objets at highway speed when no object was present. Used scanner to check for codes and network communication status. Found a code in the body control module for key fob battery low. Replaced battery and cleared code. Inspected areas that had been affected by accident. Found several cuts in the left front wiring harness to the front radar and the left front headlight. Removed covering on the harness and repaired all damage. Rewrapped wiring harness and routed wires. I-sense system is still detecting objects when non are present. Inspected rear end where repairs were made. Found the rear side radars were both installed incorrectly. Removed sensors and installed properly. Test drove vehicle and I-sense is no showing a green circle and detecting objects correctly.
- remove rear bumper and flip radar sensors so they face the right way
- remove front bumper to inspect wiring and radar sensor, found bad wire going to lt front radar. repaired wire and retested system and is working at this time
